Kalligraphic Painting
The beginning of my painting in 1989 was in a strong connection to Tai Chi Chuan Chuan that I practiced at that time and therefore had a clear calligraphic character. The energy accumulated in the body flowed into a line on the paper, leaving a tension-charged drawing. A connection to graphic art that I studied and practiced before is obvious, but the clear black and white drawing become softer and more colorful over time.
I researched and developed this kind of painting until 2002, when I became inspired by natural pigments.
